My review and experience using the Vapman vaporizer

When I started using Vapman, my first task was to keep the aluminum loading funnel at hand (and prevent loss) as shown in 2 torch lighter pix. Later I found a simpler way (w/o funnel) to load the gold chamber using a doob tube for a neater fill. I centered the middle piece and pushed down while twisting it back and forth to trim any errant herb on the chamber rim. Finally I gently tapped the assembly twice on my tray to dislodge any trim and used the torch to enjoy my handywork.
I bought a Vapman glass mouthpiece which did not fit or retain well. My solution was to mark all around the mating end (⅜ inch lg.) with a Sharpie then twisted the glass tube into the mouthpiece opening. The black residue marked where the opening needed to be trimmed. I used the very pointed Xacto blade to get good scraping control and it worked well.
When using Vapman I covered 2 of 3 vent holes in the middle piece with clear tape and found that my draw improved. The device is well crafted and easily serviced. I wiped a light coating of mineral oil onto wood parts to enhance the burl.
I enjoy using Vapman often and found that I have better sessions using the torch more aggressively than suggested.

I love my vapmen (since I have multiple

The vapman is awesome. I had 2 of the Swiss made versions that I use all the time. But had to grab the new italian made vapman. It seems just a bit taller with more space between the bowl and wood than the older version. Now bud doesn’t get caught in the air gap. I also get more airflow than older versions. All uprades seem to be very worthy changes. The wood grain is finished beautifully.
You can get really awesome hits off basically .05 bowl. Once you get the right heat it’s just keeping the temp inside that window of cloud and intensity. If I lost mine today, I’d order again tomorrow.
